T'uy't'tanat- Cease Wyss is an interdisciplinary artist who works with new media, performance and interdisciplinary arts and is a community engaged and public artist. Her traditional medicine teachings stem from knowledge transfer from elders and cultural teachers that range across many diverse indigenous communities.
Her arts and cultural practice and training has spanned over 29 years and has always focussed on sustainability, permaculture techniques, Coast Salish Cultural elements, healing through creative ways and have included themes of ethnobotany, Salish weaving and digital media technology. Cease has been focussing on connecting to her Polynesian roots through weaving and digital media projects and has recently been given opportunities for collaborating with indigenous peoples from throughout Oceania, specifically Polynesian peoples. Gardening and land based practices have helped to inform her work and how she helps herself and her communities.

OUR PARTNERS
Lead by Matt Maw (Chippewas of the Thames First Nation) Red Music Rising is an artist management company and record label; owned and managed entirely by Indigenous individuals. Our mission: to develop robust, sustainable, life-long careers for Indigenous artists and industry members, nation(s)wide.

Nagamo Publishing was created as a joint project between the broadcasting network APTN and Bedtracks, a Toronto-based music house. This project came out of the desire to strengthen Indigenous representation in the film and television industry. Up to now, there hasn't been a centralized place to find Indigenous music for media productions, and Nagamo is here to change that. By connecting producers and content creators with Indigenous composers, we are helping to tell our stories in the most authentic way.
